Vision
Access to health services for all Latino families in Central Texas.

Mission
The Ventanilla de Salud provides immigrant and Latino families culturally appropriate health education, free health screenings, and referrals to community health services in partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico in Austin.

About Us
The Ventanilla de Salud is a health outreach program targeting underserved Latino families with preventative health resources.  Due to our strategic partnership with and location in the Consulate General of Mexico in Austin, we are able to connect an otherwise hard to reach population to available health services in a safe setting.  By partnering with more than twenty city, county and community health and social service agencies, we are able to provide referrals, health education, and on-site health services, such as HIV testing, blood pressure and blood glucose screenings, and vision testing, to those in need.

Since our inception in April 2008 we have connected the Latino community to over 10,000 health services, screenings, educational classes, and materials.

To learn more about Ventanilla de Salud services, please view our brochure.

We offer free educational health sessions (EHS) for your school, worksite or organization. For details, see the EHS Flyer.
